Welcome to the Boston University Interfraternity Council (IFC)

The IFC is a general assembly consisting of at least one delegate from each chapter, as well as an elected Executive Board.

Our primary goals are the advancement, safety and security of each fraternity chapter here at Boston University, as well as ensuring continued success of the Greek system at BU. We work closely with our nine member chapters, the Student Activities Office (SAO), the Panhellenic Council (Panhel), and the Multi-Cultural Greek Council (MGC) to plan and coordinate programming on campus to benefit the entire campus community.

Fraternity Recruitment takes place twice a year in the beginning of both the Fall and Spring Semester. Any men interested in joining Greek Life can find recruitment updates on this website, became a fan of us on facebook, or follow us on Instagram for more information.

The Greek Community is here to help you find your place within the Boston University community. Being Greek means more than just wearing Greek letters, attending meetings and going to social events. Being in a fraternity is about making friendships that will last far beyond your college years while enhancing your own personal and leadership development. Fraternities are founded on specific values that help guide its members through the college years and after. Four ideals that all Greek organizations possess are: leadership, scholarship, philanthropy, and most importantly brotherhood.
